Named for French Lesson
Scotland Rugby League
Scotland Under-18s v France Under-18s.
Date: 3rd March 2002
Venue: Peebles RFC
K.O: 2pm
The newly formed Scotland Under-18s face the tourists, France Under-18s on
3rd March at Peebles RFC. The fixture provides a debute match for the
squad
who have been formed prior to the successes of both the Scotland Under-19s
and Student teams. There is great expectation that many of the
talented
squad members can anticipate a place in the Under-19s side, participating in
the Home Nations in early April. The Scotland squad consists of both
residents and exiles, many of whom possess rugby union backgrounds, but turn
their hand to rugby league in the summer months to enhance and develop their
playing skills.
