Candle Burning Tips

*Due to our candles being hand poured with heart and soul we *guarantee that every candle you purchase will burn evenly until completely gone.

Proper candle burning instructions (Important, if you DO NOT follow these instructions we will not replace/guarantee any candle(s):

NEVER BURN CANDLES UN-ATTENDED!

*Always burn candle 1 hour for every inch in diameter that the candle is. For example if the candle is 3" in diameter you must burn the candle for a minimum of 3 hours. This will ensure that the candle will burn all the way out to the glass (or edge of wax) and will burn down completely. No candles will be guaranteed if proper candle burning has obviously been neglected.

NEVER EVER extinguish a candle until a FULL MELT POOL has been achieved!

For best burn pool results never burn candle in a draft or directly near or under a ceiling fan or any other fan or air conditioning unit.

To avoid candle smoking/soot trim wick to 1/4" before each burn. Re-trim wick every 3 hours during extended burning times.

To elongate the burn time for each candle, we do not suggest that you burn the candle longer than 4hrs. a day.

NEVER blow out a candle. Always use a candle snuffer. If you do not have a snuffer then place your index finger in the middle of your lips (as if to hush someone) and blow swiftly. Using this method will split the wind around the index finger for direct contact to the flame/wick. In some cases this will NOT cause the wax not to splatter, but in other cases can prevent the wax from splattering.

NEVER move a burning candle or one that has just been snuffed! Molten (melted) wax is VERY HOT and can burn the skin if splattered or spilled on the skin!

Discontinue candle use when the wax is within 1/2 inch from bottom of container.

If the wick becomes off center, extinguish and use wick trimmers to re-center the wick before the candle solidifies (sets up).

DO NOT burn any candle that does not exhibit a centered wick. Un-centered wicks can cause a fire or cause your container to burst resulting in fire.

Never burn candles near children or pets!

If you notice a mushroom (flower) on the wick this is an indication that the candle needs extinguished and you need to trim the wick. Doing so will prevent the candle from smoking as much.

Always burn candles on a heat resist surface!

*We will only guarantee our candles under the following procedures: You MUST first contact us via email to request a RGA number (return goods authorization).
