How to do Monique's Eye Makeup
i'm sacraficing my originality for the sake of Rowenna...and because i thought it would be fun. she wanted to know how to do makeup like mine, so here you all are!

yes, this is how i put on my eye makeup every freakin day, although sometimes with slight variations. and i will keep those to myself, thank you very much! i'm not devulging all my secrets here. hah! *sticks out tongue*

and just so you know, the only editing done to the following pictures was a slight increase in contrast, because the close-ups often came out too blurry.

MATERIALS
just an idea of what you'll need. it's not necessary to have the exact same thing, these are just what i use.

NOTE: i used myself as the model, and i look very weird with no makeup on. so don't be scared, mmkay?

okay, now here is what you do...

if you wear foundation or coverup
or whatever, you may want to put that
on before starting with the eyemakeup. otherwise,
just start with a makeup-less eye. duh.

Step 1
start with the violet color of the Revlon Creme shadow and spread a very thin layer over the eyelid. it doesn't really matter what color you use, this just provides a base that the dry shadows will stick to better.
Step 2
using the darkest color of the quartet, take a small amount and spread it over the lid and slightly above the crease.
Step 3
spread a large amount of the second darkest color from the crease to the eyebrow. don't worry if it looks messy, that will be fixed later.
Step 4
in one very light, gentle stroke, brush off the excess powder.
Step 5
using the second darkest color again, carefully shade in a thin area on the lower lid.
Step 6
now using the Bourjois in Kaki Etonnant, brush a layer of the color over the entire lid and up to the eyebrow.
Step 7
brush a line of the same color on the lower lid as well.
Step 8
brush a layer of the Bourjois in Brun Creatif over the lid up to the crease.
Step 9
on the lower lid, add a small amount of the same color only on the inner and outer corners of the eye.
Step 10
use a very small dab of the lightest color to blend in the area shown.
Step 11
again, very carefully and lightly brush off the excess powder.
Step 12
do the same for the lower lid, and brush off any powder that has fallen onto the rest of the face.
Step 13
wipe off any mess-ups with a q-tip.
Step 14
(optional)
with the eyebrow pencil (or brown eyeliner) trace over the eyebrow to make it more prominent.
