More on Boxcar Racer

This just in! News about the Blink side project! While they're not on the road, Tom Delonge and Travis Barker will be playing in a side group called "Boxcar Racer". The group will also include guitarist Dave Kennedy, who is formerly from Over My Dead Body, a hardcore band in San Diego. The band's debut will be released May 14, followed by a tour. Mark Hoppus sings on one of the tracks. More news...As it happens!

Blink 182 and Green Day?

The following has been confirmed.

I recently got an e-mail from a visitor saying that he thinks Blink 182 might tour with Green Day this summer. This is not confirmed however, and it may not take place this summer because they have to finish their European tour after Tom's back surgery, which won't take place for at least 8 weeks. Who knows what'll happen?

Tom's back injury forces postponing of tour dates

Tom has stated that his back injury (something wrong with a disc, but i can't spell the right word so i'll leave it at that, it starts with "H")will require surgery and he will be re-evaluated in approximately eight weeks. After that, the band will make plans. For now, the European tour dates have been postponed until further notice.

Travis Branches Out

Travis Barker, Blink 182's drummmer, has plans to start a new band to jam with when he is not on tour with Blink 182. The band would consist of himself and some friends from his hometown in California, and will sound like a mix of Refused, Minuteman, and Fugazi.

Take Off Your Pants and Jacket Goes Gold

Of course we all knew it would happen, but congrats Blink 182 on selling over 500 000 copies of your new album.
