The band was once stopped because of indescribable thing that happened to their vocalist, Pakat. He suffered a damn Hepatitis A so the band started to worry about their pending gigs. In the night in which the Bhonog Fever was featuring, pakat was not there. Their another guitarist(rhytym) Jebong, was the one who lead the vocals. Fortunately, that night was another successful night for them. The venue was full of people including their friends in mov, Although Jebong didn't know some parts of their songs, its not obviously seen. Hehehe!!!
Though their lead vocalist was not around, they still started to compose new songs for their fans. For a change, they exchanged different ideas in music, they now played Old School Music, A Marilyn Manson type and so on and so forth. =) Until their effects was stealed by some unknown people during their gig in Baler, Aurora.. their hometown. The band was so sad during that time but they don't give up on what happened, they keep in mind that they can still have that one and they will choose a more powerful one this time.
And now, they're back… their vocalist was back from that fuckin illness… "Buti naman bumalik na si hepatak (regz nick for pakat).. lalo pa ngayon mukhang madami na ulit kaming gigs." Regz, their drummer said. "We are not a band without pakat…" their former bassist Jay said…. Jebong also felt happy, "Di nako mahihirapan ulit kumanta while playing guitars with Wah-wah, andyan na siya….", he said. But not only that three feel merrily, but also of course their lead guitarist Adan(Marlon).
"Buo na ulit kami!!!!", he said.
At present, the band is looking for another manager in replacement of Amang, since he was planning to go somewhere in the province to help our brothers and sisters there. =) Anyway, the band would like to thank Cecille and George of Freedom Bar for their exposure, Music Musem and U.P. College of Music for their first gig and Tawewen for helping them in their songs… Also to JayWilkes "Ba-u" de Guzman, the mystery Congga Boy in Rat Attack and Julius Homer "Buge" Dukha for always
making them laugh at all times… He also played triangle in Guy Next Door… =)
Thanks to all of you guys...… Mabuhay Pilipinas… Ipagtanggol ang mga
naapi sa ilalim ng mga diktador!!! Hehehe!!!
