1.09 has brought around many changes, including a nerfing to magic
find. Now it has a diminishing returns which kicks in after %110
and makes anything over %400 rise in such small increments that
it's pretty much useless. For most of us we won't really notice
anything different, for the couple of people out there with ridiculous
amounts passing way over %500 they may want to reconsider their
equipment setup after seeing these charts:
