Chapter 1

“What’s the time?” I said to Soph. “It's almost two Nicky and Shane should be here with us soon the plane had just landed.” Soph and me were waiting for our Best mates Nicky and Shane to come and meet us. “Mich.” Someone’s voice came from behind us. “Soph.” We both turned around to see Shane and Nicky running up to us full with luggage.  “Shane How are ya.” I ran up to him and hugged him. “I'm good.”  Shane replied with a smile. “How was the trip?” I asked with excitement. “It was brilliant we had such a cool time, Didn't we Nicky?” “Yep we did come on let’s get home and we will tell ya more.”
We drove up 2 our 4-bedroom house in Soph’s BMW we all lived together with Nicky's long term girlfriend Georgina but we all called her Gina but Nicky was in for a shock when he gets home Gina had a Dark secret.
“I can’t wait to see Gina I’ve missed her so much.” Nicky said excitedly. We got out of the car and walked through the door. “Home sweet home nothing changes.” Shane laughed. Gina came running down the stairs while saying “Nicky babes I’ve missed ya so much.” Nicky ran up to her and hugged her. “I've missed you too much.”
We all sat in the living room chatting about Nicky and Shane's holiday. Gina looked at Nicky and said “Nicky we need to talk.” “Gina can't it wait Shane is getting up to the best part.” “No Nicky it can't it's important but not here can we go for a drive.” “O.k.” Nicky said in a angry mood. So Nicky and Gina went out for a drive. “I wonder what that was all about.” Shane wondered. I looked at Soph and she shrugged her shoulders I turned to Shane and said. “Hell Knows.”
Me, Shane and Soph were all sitting in the living room chatting. “Who wants my nice pizzas?”  Shane said. “Me.” Soph and me said at the same time. Just then the phone rang I went to get it. “Hello.” I said softly down the phone. “Hi Mich What you lot up to tonight?” Sambos voice echoed. “Nothing not as I know of anyway why.” I wondered. “Good don't plan any thing I'm having a party at my house the gang is invited so pass the message on so I'll see ya to night at 8 o clock and before I forget bring drink with ya see ya.”
Meanwhile Nicky and Gina were driving around. “So what’s this about?”  Nicky said. “Nicky this so hard for you to hear this.” “What is it?” Nicky asked puzzled. “When you were away I started to see some one else.” Gina said. “WHAT, WHO?” Nicky shouted with anger and upset at the same time. “Jamie.” Gina said. “JAMIE MY COUSIN JAMIE HOW CAN YA DO THIS TO ME GINA I THOUGHT I MEANT SOMETHING TO YA, I ’VE STOOD BY YA 4 AGES BUT YOU'VE GONE WAY TO FAR AND WHAT HURTS MOST IS HE IS MY OWN COUSIN.”
“Nicky I'm so sorry I didn't mean to hurt you it just happened.” “IT JUST HAPPENED GINA I DON'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH YA ANY MORE I WANT YOU OUT OF MY LIFE WHEN WE GET HOME YOU PACK YA STUFF AND GO.” “Where am I gonna go." Gina said crying. “I DON'T REALLY CARE COME ON LETS GO THE QUICKER WE GO THE QUICKER YOUR OUT OF MY LIFE.”
“Shane I gotta tell ya this pizza is really nice I think it's the best one you ever made.” Soph said. I came into the kitchen. “Who was that on the phone?” Shane asked. “It was Sambo she is having a party tonight and everyone is going so are we going.” “Yea of course we are it sounds wicked.”  Soph said with a huge smile on her face. We were all chatting about to night until we heard the door slamming. “What the hell was that?” I wondered.
Me, Soph and Shane all jumped out of our seats and went to see what was going on. Nicky stormed passed us almost knocking me over then he went up the stairs. Then Gina chased after him in tears. “What the hell is going on it must be serious.” Soph wondered. “I have no idea but we have only been back for five minutes and they are arguing already I'm gonna up there to see.” Shane said. Soph and me followed him up there.
“What’s all the racket?”
Shane said while walking into Nicky's room followed by me and Soph. "MY SO CALLED GIRLFRIEND HERE HAS BEEN SEEING MY COUSIN BEHIND ME BACK." Nicky shouted. "Nicky I’m so sorry." Gina cried. "GINA I DON'T ACCEPT YOUR APLOGY NOW JUST TAKE YA STUFF AND GET OUT OF MY LIFE." Nicky said almost in tears. Gina picked her stuff up then headed out of the door that was the last time we ever saw her well for the time being anyway.
Nicky broke down and cried his hurt out to Soph who went up to him and hugged him. "What did I do wrong to deserve this?" Nicky cried. "I don't know Nicky she was scum she isn’t worth crying over." Soph said while putting her arm around Nicky. "I loved her Soph I'm not gonna find any one like her." "Yes you will there’s plenty of other fish in the sea, Me, Mich, Shane and the others will get ya through this." "I hope your right Soph I hope your right." Nicky looked at her and Soph looked at Nicky and they both smiled.

Chapter 2

"Come on Shane hurry up I wanna have a shower like any time to day." Soph said to Shane who was still in the shower. I walked passed and said "Soph it’s like 7:30 and you aint changed yet." "Mich don't blame me it's Mr Filan in there who isn't changed yet, you know I will hate to think when he gets married I don’t know how his poor wife will cope" Soph joked. "I haven't got a clue with great difficulty" I laughed. Shane came out me and Soph looked at him and cracked up. Soph went into the bathroom.
"What were you laughing for." Shane said. "Nothing" I laughed. "Yea sure I aint that dumb ya know I heard you and Soph giggling for that ya dead." Shane laughed. "I'm not cause you can't catch me" I said while starting to run from Shane
Shane started to chase me but he caught up with me. Then we started to play fight until we heard the fire alarm go off.
We ran into the kitchen to see Nicky burning pictures of Gina. "Nicky what the hell are ya doing." I said. "Erasing every memory of her" Nicky said. It was coming up to 8 o clock. "Come on guys we gotta go." I shouted at every one. "I aint coming because of what happened I can't face any one tell Sambos I'm sorry."
The taxi came to pick us up. "I'm really worried about leaving Nicky behind." Soph said worried. "Nicky will be fine if he gets any problems all he has to do is ring one of us.” Shane said.
We drove up to Sambos house. "WOW it's a huge house." "Well her boyfriend is a millionaire he designed a game or something." I said. We went up to the door rang the bell. Sambo greeted us "Hi ya Thanks for coming Come in Come give me ya coats and ya drinks and make ya self at home." "Thanks" We all stood in the middles of Sambo's big hall until we heard a voice saying "Shane over here." Shane turned around to see Bryan and his pregnant fiancée Kerry waving at him. "Mich I'm gonna go and speak to Bry and Kerry I'll see ya around the party ok." "Ok see ya later mate." Shane walked off to see Bry.
"I need a drink don’t you." I asked Soph but she was biting her nails. "Soph earths to Soph come in Soph." I shouted. "What?" Soph said as she came back down to earth. "I asked you if you want a drink what’s up?" I asked. I'm so worried about Nicky he might do some thing stupid." "If ya that worried go and see if he is alright don’t worry about Sambo I'll tell her you had to go some where." "Thanks Mich you’re a great pal I'll see ya when you get home tonight." "Yea bye." Soph went home
I sat at the bar drinking until some one tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around to see Emzy and Kay but I call her nutzy. “Oh my god long time no see.” I said shocked. We hugged each other because Emzy was away touring with five because she is a dancer and Nutzy had been at college in Wales where she was studying. "So how are ya both?" I asked, "We are both good. "Nutzy said. We spoke for a while catching up. "Well we gotta be heading back home in a little while I am back on the road again with the band." Emzy said. " I'm here until Wednesday then I gotta go back to Wales." "Awww bless how long until we see each other who’s birthday is it next?" "I think its Jens and she is having a party." Nutzy said. "Speaking of Jen where is she I aint seen her, Kim or Janine." I asked. "They are in Tenerife still they get back on Tuesday." Nutzy replied.
"Here comes Mark he is heading this way towards us no he aint." Emzy said. I looked at Nutzy who went all bright red as Emzy mentioned Mark's name. "You fancy him don't ya?" I asked Nutzy. "No I don't, don’t be stupid he is a mate and that’s it." Emzy and me looked at her. "Yea sure whatever Kay, you fancy him whenever he is around you go all funny and you flirt with him." Emzy joked. "Alright I do I've always liked him but he don't feel the same towards me he only sees me as a mate." "Tell him then that’s the only way." I said. "No I'm not." Nutzy said. "Oh my word look at the time We best be off now." Emzy said. We all our goodbyes.
"Hi Mich" Kian's voice came from behind me. "Kian babes how are ya aint you supposed to be in Hawaii with your girlfriend." I said confused. "Nah I dumped her she was annoying." “Kian you don't last five minutes with a girl." I laughed. "Ha very funny, where’s Nicky to night I aint seen him." Kian asked. “He aint here its a long story." Kian and me chatted for about 20 minutes until he went somewhere.
I decided to go and look for Shane but I couldn’t find him anywhere. Then I caught a glimpse of some one who I knew but I couldn't make out who it was until I moved closer. "Maz is that you." I asked. "Mich I can't believe it. Maz turned to hug me. She lives in Australia and we aint seen each other for ages. "So you on one of your flying visit how is Nic." Nic aint here cause of her family or something, Yep I'm here to see every one and also looking for a job." "A job wicked." "Yea Australia is getting a bit to much for me now and I wanna get away, make a fresh start." "Cool" I said with a huge shocked sign on my face.
"But there’s one problem I aint got any where to stay when I do move over here so is there any chance I can stay with you please." "That would be ok I'm sure Nicky, Shane and Soph wont mind Any way I gotta go I'll see ya before you go back." I said to Maz. We hugged then said our good byes. I tried to find Shane but I couldn't Sambo told me he went home with some girl. Of course I was annoyed so I got in and went to bed.

Chapter 3

I got up with a horrible headache so I went downstairs. "Morning Mich." "Morning Soph" I said to Soph who was in the kitchen making Bacon. "So how was it last Night." Soph asked. "It was cool I caught up with Emzy and Nutzy, Kian and Maz. I said. "So what’s the gossip anything." Soph said excitedly. "Yep there is Maz who is over here looking for a job and might be moving over here I kind of said yes for her to stay here when she moves over here that’s ok aint it. I asked. "That’s fine with me, Have you heard about Shane?" Soph said. "No what’s happened, nothing serious has happened has it." I said confused. "No it hasn't, well me and Nicky were chatting last night and Shane comes home with a girl and she is really nice." Soph said. "What oh that’s just great I'm supposed to be his best mate and he never tells me anything." I said annoyed.
Nicky came down followed by Shane. "Morning girls." Shane said. "Morning Shane and Nicky." Soph said. Shane came over to me while I was pouring Me and Soph a cup of tea. "Morning Mich how are ya this morning. Shane said. "I'm just fine not." I said annoyed. "What’s a matter?” "Well there’s two things thanks for leaving me at the party last night so I had to get a taxi on my own and another thing what’s with this girl your with." I'm sorry o yeah I think I’ve met this perfect girl for me." Shane said. "Shane why are you telling me for cause I don’t give a damn about your love life infact I don't care."
I stormed up the stairs to be followed by Soph. "Mich what’s a matter with you this morning." Soph said. "Nothings a matter its just the way how Shane goes on about his love life all the time when I aint got any one." I cried. "Mich aint he in titled to one." "He is but its just annoying when he goes on about it all the time I guess its because I hate being single." "Mich Daniel was a right prick he didn't deserve you." "I would rather forget him."
I got dressed then I went to say sorry to Shane. I knocked at Shane’s door. "Come in." Shane said. So I went in. "Hi are you busy." I said as I closed the door behind me. "Nope I'm not what’s up. Shane said. I've come to say I'm sorry I was a right cow to you earlier." "Mich don’t worry about it." He came up to hug me. "So do ya wanna meet her?" Shane asked. "Yea I do I wanna see if she is good enough for me Bessie mate" "OK I'll invite her around for dinner to night so don't go out." Shane said. "Ok that’s fine with me."
For the rest of the day I just sat outside sunbathing chatting to Nicky about Gina. It was 6 o clock and Shane was rushing in the kitchen having a go at every one to make this evening special. Finally every thing was in place ready for the special evening.
DING DONG the front door went. "That would be her." Shane said. Soph went to open the door. She came in dressed all smartly
"Hi Shaney" Shane went up to her and kissed her. He took her hand and lead her to me. "This is Mich me Bessie mate." "So this is Mich I finally get to meet her all Shane was going on about last night was Mich." She said while shaking my hand. "Pleasure is all mine its good to meet you as well. All evening Shane and her couldn't keep their hands off each other. I joked to Soph. "I wish they would get a room."
We all finished our meal and I helped Nicky to wash up. The phone rang. "I'll get it." Nicky said. "Hello." Nicky said. The line went dead. Who was it? What did they want? "Who was that?" I asked Nicky while he was walking in the kitchen but he didn't answer me at first. "Earth to Nicky, Come in Nicky." I waved my hand in front of his face so I got his attention. "What’s up?" He said. "I said who was that on the phone." "I don't know the line went dead."
Shane’s new girlfriend went home "Thanks for coming tonight babes" He said while she was heading out of the door. "I love you." She said. He went up to her and gave her a snog. Me, Nicky and Soph were all being nosy peeking out of the window. The taxi drove off. I switched on the TV just as Shane came in the living room so he didn't know we were being nosy.
"So what did you think of her." Shane asked as he was sitting down next to me. "She is really nice I think you two are well suited." "Yea I think so to I hope that I can make a go of it." We just chatted until we all went to bed.

Chapter 4

A few Days later...
I got up feeling great. I went in Shane's room to see him packing. "Hey what's going on why you packing for." I asked. "We gotta go to Germany and do T.V shows and a performance." Shane said. "Thanks for telling me, how long you going for?" I said shocked. "I only found out this morning from Kian we will be away for a week or so." I started to cry. "Mich what's up?" "I don't want you to go I'll miss all are Bessie mate chats that we always have." "Aww Mich Soph is gonna be here so if you need some one to chat to then chat to Soph." Shane said while hugging me.
"Come on Shane we gotta go." Nicky shouted from downstairs. "Ok I gotta go you couldn't give me a hand taking this suitcase down could ya." Shane asked. I helped my best mate to take his suitcase down. "Nicky what happens if Gina comes back." Soph worried. "She wont she's to occupied with Him." We hugged our best mates as they headed out the door.
Soph stared at the clock. "You know staring at that clock wont bring them back quick enough." I said to Soph while walking into the living room with a cuppa tea. "Mich Its boring with out the boys here." Soph moaned. "I know Soph but it's part of their job they can get calls anytime to got anywhere it's the schedule." "What you wanna do, you're right I can't spend a week or so moping over the boys absence." Soph said smiling. "Shall we go for a shopping trip with the gang?" I said. "Yea anything to get us out of this house." Soph said.
After phoning around to see who was up for the shopping trip we all met outside New Look. "Michy" Some one shouted out from the distance. I turned around to see Kerry walking up with Maz. "Kezza" I ran up to her and gave her a hug. She was 7 months pregnant with her and Bryan's first child. "Well what is it gonna be?" I asked Kezza. "It's gonna be a girl." Kezza screamed with joy. "Oh my god seriously oh that's so sweet." I said with joy. "Where are Kay and Emz?" Soph moaned. "We are here behind you." Nutzy said. Soph jumped.
"Where to first?" Kezza said. "Miss Selfridges I saw a nice top on the way down here and I really wanna get it." Nutzy said. "Ok Miss Selfridges we go then." Maz said. While browsing at some tops. "Mich can I tell ya some thing please." Soph said. "Yea sure what up." "I think I like Nicky more then a friend." "What ya mean Soph?" "Mich what I'm trying to say is I'm in love with Nicky I've always been in love with him even when he was with Gina." "Soph they have only just broken up." "I know but I can't help the way I feel towards him." "So what you going to do about it?" "There's nothing I can do is there." "Are you gonna tell him?" "I don't no he isn't over Gina yet Maybe I should give it time." "Yea that the best thing to do."
We all shopped because we were all big spenders. As we were getting a bite to eat Emzy's mobile rang. "Hello" She said as she picked up the phone. "Aww wicked so who are ya sitting with?" "Well there's Me, Kay, Kezza, Maz, Mich and Soph. "Cool let me speak to Mich." "Ok I'll pass ya on now." Emzy handed me her phone. "Hello." I said in a stupid voice. "Hi ya Mich it's Abs." I thought you are you then I clicked. "Oh hi ya I aint seen you since Kian's birthday party how are ya doing." "I'm ok the tour is kicking off I have a few days off then it's back on the road again." "Yea I remember Emzy telling me any way Abs mate I'm gonna get served now I'll hand you back to Emzy." I handed her back to Abs
We were all sitting around the table eating until Emzy came back. "What did he want?" Kezza said being nosy. "He just wanted to see if I was alright." She went into a daze. "I think some one fancies him." Maz joked. " I don't fancy him." That is what Emzy was telling us on the outside but deep down inside of her she felt something different towards him.
We were all back at mine and Soph's house chatting about different things "So who wants some chocolate cake then?" I asked. "Me." "Every one jumped up and screamed. "Ok chocy cake coming up." I was in the kitchen cutting cake then Nutzy came in. "Hi Mich." "Oh Hi ya." "I've come to see if ya wanna hand." "Nah it's alright mate." She looked upset. "Nutzy what's up?" "Mark is seeing someone." "Oh my god he isn't is he." "Yea I go to his house last night to tell him how I feel and then he cracks the shell that he has a new girlfriend. "Aww well he doesn't know what he is missing with you does he." "No he doesn't thanks Mich for listening to me." "Hey don't worry about it I'm ya mate aint I." "Ok I'm going to go back in the living room." "Alright then."
The phone went  "Mich get that will ya." Soph called from the lounge. I picked it up. "Hello." The line went dead. Soph wondered in. "Who was that on the phone?" She asked. "I don't know the line went dead." "Have you done 1471?" "Yea I did that but the caller with held their number." "That's weird." "It aint the first time its happened." "What ya mean?" "Its happened before if I can remember rightly Nicky picked up the phone and it went dead." "If it happens again then tell me then we will get the number changed." "Yea ok that will be the best thing."
Soph and me were sitting in the lounge all the others went home we were watching television. "Mich I've decided to tell Nicky how I feel towards him when he gets home." "Really?" "Yep I can't go on like this anymore its driving me mad knowing I wanna be with him I know it is to soon after Gina but I need him." "Ok Soph if ya think it's the right thing I'll back ya all the way.
  While Eastenders were on the door went. "Aint ya gonna get it?" Soph said. "But Soph I wanna watch this." After a few minutes. "Fine I'll go." I got up and opened the door to get a big shock. It was my ex boyfriend Daniel.

Chapter 5

“Hi Mich.” I stood there in total shock my ex boyfriend Daniel who treated me like a bit of dirt was standing in front of me but there was more shocks to come. “What the hell are you doing here?” I said with hurt. “I think it’s about time you and I have a little chat about what happened between us.” “I’ve got nothing to say to you.” I slammed the door in his face but he stopped it.
“Mich hold up please.” I turned around. “Don’t you understand English I said get lost.” “I’m not going anywhere until you hear what I’ve gotta say. I went back to the door. “I don’t care what you gotta say just get out of here.” “No I’m not going anywhere so you going to let me in or do I have to stand out here in soaking clothes in the middle of the rain.” “Ok come in then.” I said sarcastically.
He walked in as if he owned the place. “Your still a Pratt.” “He looked at me. “Why is that?” “The way you walk some times I wonder what the hell I saw in you.” “Yea I know I’m perfect aint I.” “Yea you wish.” I said under my breath. He looked at me. “What you say?” “Nothing.”
  We walked in the kitchen I closed the door cause I didn’t want Soph to hear cause if she did then she will come in and go mental to find out that Daniel was here. “Ok go on talk.” “Gees Mich you’re so impatient.” “Haha funny you think your jokes are so good but to tell you the truth they are pathetic.” “Ok whatever can we please talk that’s why I am here for.”
He sat down at the table I sat opposite him I put my hand on the table then he placed his almost on to mine but I moved it away. “Mich I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to hurt you.” “You didn’t mean to hurt me.” I started to cry because the pass was coming back to me but I wasn’t going to let it get to me. “You expect me to forgive you just like that.” “It would be nice.” “I caught you with my cousin and that hurt.” I shouted.
Soph was still in the living room watching TV until she heard me and Daniel shouting from the kitchen. She opened the kitchen door. “Mich what was all that shouting for?” “It’s that pratt who is sitting down there.” She looked at Daniel then went a bit mad. “Why on earth is that cheating idiot here for?” Soph shouted. “Hi Soph nice to see ya to so still mates with Mich then?” “Yea I’m any way why are you here” “I’ve come to talk to Mich and just Mich.” He said as he smiled sarcastically at Soph. “Mich tell her to get lost and leave us alone.” “No she doesn’t have to go this is her home and she can stay if she wants to.” He looked at Soph and she smiled sarcastically at him it served him right.
Daniel pulled me to one side. “Mich.” He grabbed my arm tightly like when a snake squeezes its pray. “Ouch let go of me that hurts.” “No I wont until you hear me out I wanna continue what we started talking about until Sophie interrupted us. “Ok go on then. “Mich I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to hurt you I mean me and your cousin just happened that night when we had the argument and your cousin and I were arguing and we ended up kissing.”
Soph overheard Daniel and me. “Daniel your always be a cheat no matter how many times you cheat.” “Soph cant you shut it for a minute just cause things didn’t work out between you and Richard and what happens between me and Mich aint got nothing to do with you.” Soph stormed out of the kitchen. I hit Daniel around the arm. “Ouch what was that for?” “You know what Soph went through with Richard and you go and bring it up.” “Mich she deserved it.” “No she didn’t you aint changed a bit.”
I began to walk out of the kitchen. “Mich hold up I gotta ask ya something.” “What?” “The only reason I’ve flown all the way from England is to be with you. I turned around. “What did you say.” He came up to me and put his arms around me. “Mich I’m still in love with you and I wanna give it another go if you are please Mich I’m begging ya. “How do I know that you’ve changed.” “You’ve gotta trust me on this one.” “Ok then I’m willing to give it another go.” We kissed me and Daniel was back together. Will he be able to change? Will he be able to be trusted? I’ll just have to see what happens but I knew Shane wouldn’t like it.
