Captivating
Exhilarating.
Maddening moments.
Filled with lips entangling.
Awkward fumbling.
And bodies tumbling.
Why can’t these moments
Last a little longer?
I find myself wishing
That each shiver you send
Would never end.
Your pleased smile
A reaction to my silly squirms
And pleading sighs, Confirm
Satisfaction.
Love's attraction.
A wanted distraction
From the coldness of reality.
Why can't we lie here a little longer?
I find myself wanting
To let myself fall asleep
Asleep to your inhales and exhales.
The beauty of each escaping breath
Maintaining the life of the man I love.
Allowing us to have these
Maddening.
Exhilirating.
Captivating moments.
