RIDDLES FROM THE DARK TOWER

All the riddles from the dark tower... and more! The pink ones are the easiest, purple are intermediate, and blue- watch out! You may need to think about it! Have fun!

Roland, Jake, Susannah and Eddie are literally riddling for thier life on Blaine, the super fast train that is a pain. He seems to know the answer to every riddle that Roland and the others can produce. Now, try to see if you would beat the mastermind of Blaine, and survive in your Quest for the Dark Tower....

1. What has four legs in the morning, two legs in the afternoon, and three legs at night?

2. What has four wheels and flies?

3. What can run but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a bed but never sleeps, has a head but never weeps?

4. No sooner spoken than broken. What is it?

5. Feed me and i live, give me to drink and i die. What am i?

6. I pass before the sun yet make no shadow. What am i?

7. Light as a feather, yet no man can hold it for long.

1. If you break me, i'll not stop working. If you can touch me, my work is done. If you lose me, you must find me with a ring soon after. What am i?

2. What is the difference between a grandmother and a grainary?

4. What may go up a chimney down, but cannot go down a chimney up?

5. We are very little creatures; all of us have different features. One of us in glass is set; one of us you'll find in jet. Another you may see in tin, and a fourth is boxed within. If the fifth you should pursue, it can never fly from you. What are we?

6. Where may you find roads without cars, forests without trees, and cities without houses?

7. I have a hundred legs but cannot stand, a long neck but no head; and i ease the maid's life. What am i?

8. Cannot be seen, cannot be felt, cannot be heard, cannot be smelt. It lies behind the stars and beneath the hills. Ends life and kills laughter. What is it?

Answers: 1) A Human Heart. 2) One is one's born kin; the other is one's korn bin. 3) A cat had claws at the end of it's paws, and a complex sentance has a pause at the end of it's clause. 4) An Umbrella. 5) A, E, I, O, and U (the vowels). 6) A map. 7) A Broom. 8) The Dark.
