*~~*Chapter 12*~~*

So she’s going to stay with me in my hotel room… there’s nothing wrong with that. Or so I thought, until we get in the room and to both of our surprises, there is only one bed. Now what are we going to do? One bed, two people… hum… this could be interesting!

The time that Lillian was gone, I spent mainly in the hotel. She was busy with her family and it would have been too strange for me to join her. I enjoyed the dinners we had together and the evenings we spent in peaceful silence. In all truth, I forgot about the life I left behind in America… the life that I would have to return to one day.

“You okay Alex?” Lillian’s sweet voice was full of worry and concern. I was off in another world, thinking of how much I would hate my home when I got there.

“I’m fine, just thinking about some things.” I said, trying to end the conversation and not sound snotty about. Lillian nodded and dropped the topic.

“So… your family thing is done?” I asked, hoping she would be spending days with me now, and would show me the sights.

“Yup, it is… so tomorrow, I thought we could go see Stonehenge. My friend has a manor up there and I would like to go visit her. I am sure you would really like her, she’s fun! And then the next day we could…”

“Okay, I am going to take your word for it!!! You can send me and take me wherever, as long as you are with me.” Lillian looked at me and smiled. That smile was worth a million words, and I loved it.

These feelings I had continued to grow. And now I knew exactly what I felt. I loved Lillian, more then I ever loved anyone, ever. How could I tell her? Maybe I could just say it.

Without knowing what I was doing, I leaned in and pressed my lips gently to hers. I could feel her jump a little at the motion but then she began to kiss with me. When we pulled apart I looked her in the eye, “I love you. I never thought I could fall this fast… will you… be my girlfriend?”
