Dear Barbara Just to let you know we used your song (Harvest of the Field) during communion at Easter in our little village church in Woodbridge, Tasmania. We had so many people come up after that to tell us how much they like it - they love the words and they love the music and they wondered where we got it from. It was special for me too as I come from Singapore/Malaysia and I could tell tell them the music is from Ng Wah Lok and the words are written by an Australian. Praise God for your gift and your talent and may He continue to bless you richly. 17 Apr 2006

Barbara,
As indicated
at the Australian Gospel Music Awards, a compilation CD is in the process
of being engineered and mastered. I am pleased to advise that your award
winning song "Harvest Of The
Field" has been selected for inclusion in the release.
The CD is
set to be marketed under the title
"The Best Of Australian Gospel Music - The Winners". Martin Erdman is
Engineering Producer, with myself as Executive Producer. Mastering of the
CD is to be undertaken at Sony Music. Release is being handled by
Hardrush Music with mainstream distribution being discussed with Sony-BMG,
ABC Records amongst others. We are seeking an Easter launch
nationwide.
Blessings
and kind regards,

Well! I've never heard anything like this
before. This is what I mean about finding something that hasn't been
done before - a niche for your songs... I can imagine this song in a
musical or a Christmas pageant - with Dickenson costumes and people
dancing around... Greg Magirescu, professional Christian singer songwriter from Canada http://www.gregmagirescu.com |
We will probably use the "Star on a Hill" in June (2003) when we launch the
next phase of our fund-raising campaign. Copies are currently being made
for members of the choir.

Keep up the good work on the music. Hopefully, one day you can devote full-time to that work. Blessings from cold Kentucky! 25 Jan 03 Wilbur & Sheila Stone (Pastor & wife USA) wstone@iname.com |
Thank you for your songs. I admire the fact that you have this talent and interest and are pursuing it. May our Lord continue to inspire you and hone your gift. We will surely use your songs in worship and for the choir as well. God bless, 9 Dec 02 Ching Ai (Music Ministry, KLBC) |
Dear Barbara, First of all, I thank God for you and Michael for being part of our ministry. In such a short time, both of you have been a blessing to many of us. How I wish both of you could stay on and continue the great work you are doing. I guess God has His own plans for you and family. I'm so impressed of your song writings and of course would love to have all the songs put into music as well. Keep up the good work, Pastor John 27 Nov 02 Rev John Kok (Senior Pastor, KLBC) |
In
collaborating on the song 'Star on a Hill' for the Kuala Lumpur Baptist Church
building project... 'I think this song will be a hit in KLBC. The melody ... has
a good flow and dynamic. I have brought focus on ....star on a hill. Your lyrics
are excellent.' 'The concept of this title
which you have written is really outstanding,......the church KLBC , with her
new building is the brightest star of the hill (Bukit Bintang)....even brighter
than the shopping complex Starhill. Wow. The preachers can have a good time
illustrating this. You can write poems later on this thought. But it is just
amazing what you have captured.'

If you would like to send me some lyrics, I will be happy to look at them, but I can't promise anything. Yours in Christ, 7
