Lingod is the chief Guardian DemiGod. The other major Guardian, Rez, is his immediate underling, as well as first assistant. In life, Lingod was a powerful warrior, but it is unknown how he died. After death, he was reincarnated as a Guardian.
Late in his career, Ren Rosso was presumed dead, due to being missing for several days. Rez and Seto created Viper to replace Ren, but when Ren showed up again, the situation put Lingod in hot water. Eventually the matter was resolved, but Lingod gained a distrust of Rez's plans.
