Playing Good-bye My Old Friend.

You may be wondering why we woud play
Good-bye my old friend on a babies page and here is the reason why.
Rosie asked herself if we could play her daddy's favorite song on her page.
How could we tell her no? We had to do it just for her :)
John was killed in the line of duty and has not got to see his baby girl grow up.
This page is dedicated to ^BlueBird in his memory.
^BlueBird died in 1998 in the line of duty and we miss him very much.

In the line of Duty;
I hear them say,
My family now the price to pay.
My folded flag stained with their tears,
we only had them short years.
The badge no longer on my chest;
I sleep now in eternal rest.
~ John Olmstead ~

John wrote this poem when a close friend of ours
was shot and killed in the line of duty 3 years before his death.
It is only fitting his baby girl should have it on here
to honor her father.
