Suddenly, Atalaya grabbed her husband's arm. "He's forgotten!" she said. "He's started to play this silly game with the fairy and he's forgotten all about trying to catch him."
     Gregorio looked out the window and saw that she was right. "Sacco!" he called out to his boy. "Come here a moment!"
     Sacco picked up his ball and ran over to the window. "What is it, Father?"
     The Cabinetmaker looked sternly at the boy and said, "Have you forgotten? Have you forgotten the point of calling Understump here? Have you forgotten that we are trying to catch him so we can finally see what he looks like?"
     Sacco just shrugged. "He's fun and he helps me and he's nice to me. Who cares what he looks like?"
     With that, he turned and threw the ball back out into the yard again, laughing as he ran back.
