Sonic The Hedgehog. Firstly was going to be a whole load of things, even a PANDA! But when it came down to it, Naka-san thought it best to have a slow animal that was super-fast. It came down to a hedgehog, and an armadillo. He chose a hedgehog because the spines would represent the sheer speed that the little blue one was going at. The armadillo became Mighty in Sonic Arcade and the most rare Sonic game of all-Knuckles Chaotix! Sonic is now the most famous Hedgehog in the entire world!
