ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Dr. Spenser is a robotic technician, the leading mind in his field
back on Earth.  His love for machines has grown into an obsession, so
much so that he has branched out into the realm of cybernetics, going
so far as to have added several cybernetic implants into his own body.
His right eye has been replaced by an ocular implant.  He keeps this
covered with a black eyepatch when he does not need to use it.  He
wears black leather gloves to hide the fact that his left arm and
hand have been replaced with a cybernetic arm.  The base of his left
palm conceals a small pulse energy weapon built into the apparatus.
His knee and elbow joints have been reinforced with cybernetics to
allow him to withstand greater strain.  His reflexes have also been
cybernetically enhanced so that he has the capacity to move with the
speed of a much younger man if need be.
To recharge the batteries in the servos of his implants, he must
plug into a power outlet each night while he sleeps.  This is a
liability that he is trying fervently to overcome with alien
technologies.  He hopes eventually to use the natural electrical
field generated by the human body to power the implants.
As great as his love for all things robotic, he still recognizes the
human superiority.  However, he is yet fascinated by them and strives
to find a way to combine the best of both.
