Monitor or Man - eater

I hope everyone knows who a monitor is,

Because if you don’t , I’ll tell you

In our class we call the monitor a man-eater

Because he’s always poking his nose.

Though he’s the teacher’s pet,

His not ours, you can bet.

He treats us like slaves in the teacher’s absence.

And counterparts only in her presence.

I hope this confirms all your thoughts.
