Kougaiji is a demon prince and son of Gyumaoh and Rasetsunyo. His part in this is well known. He is helping Gyokumen Koushu resurrect Gyumaoh. He doesn't even want his father resurrected. He's only helping Koushu because of what Koushu did to his mother. She imprisioned Rasetsunyo in a stone wall. Koushu has promised on more than one occuasion that she would release his mother if he gets the Five Founding Scriptures Of Heaven And Earth that a Sanzo priest carries. They already have one Scripture, the Seiten Scripture that was stolen from Koumyou Sanzo ten years before the story begins. Kougaiji often objects to things that Koushu asks of him. He doesn't like sending fellow demons out against the Sanzo Party. He'd much rather fight them on his own and with his loyal followers; Yaone, Dokugakuji, and his little sister Lirin. Kougaiji is very strong and very powerful. Though, he's no match for Goku when Goku's in his true form. Kougaiji uses fire spells and summons very powerful Fiends. He's also very loyal to his followers. He'd do anything for them just as he knows they'll do anything for him. |
