Well,
talking about my interests, I have got a lot. Above of all, I like
playing computer games, reading books, going for a hike or a trek,
swimming, watching TV, blah blah blah. They are countless.
I have read quite a number
of books of a number of tastes ranging from romantic, spy thrillers
to philosophical and self exploration. Some are good and some suck,
mostly the romantic ones, everything revolves around same story
and sex.I really don't like them. As for spy thrillers, they are
also over the head now, with same storyline going on. Some books
are good to read, they keep you the edge of the seat. And now about
the last type, they may not be such interesting but they give quite
a view about the world and life. So I like them. They have something
that you can learn and apply in your life. Also, you have more things
to say about when you talk with friends. ;)
Here are some books I
prefer good for reading, you may choose some if you want to...
Books of Syndey
Sheldon - they are well written, entertaining to read and
a good time pass
Books of Fredrick
Forsyth - once my favourite author but not now, a good
spy novel writer, I like his style
Godfather
by Mario Puzo is quite a good book and shows how
a Don, or an influential person should be!
And now the non-fiction
ones -
Papilion
- its a great book to read, a great adventure, shows why man thrive
for freedom
City of Joy
- portrayed about a slum area in Kolkota of India, asks question
about man's existence in the world and the need for continuation
of life; a true story indeed, I say a must read for all
For the philosophical
books, books by Osho are good. Sophie's World by
Josten Gaarder is also a good read. It tells 3000 years of human
civilization of Europe in just about 400 pages, starting right from
the Greeks to Stephen Hawkings.
Others, you can choose
according to your taste. You can also refer me some! |
