Deconstructing X (part 3) |
---|
The cars maintain the same position - the riders are still facing down.
This picture is from the other side. At the top of the hill, the cars start to spin in a negative direction. The first two cars are at +180 degrees; the third car is in transition; the last four cars are still at +270 degrees. Since the track is above the cars, the 180 degree position means that riders have their head up.
The negative spin move continues. The first car is at +45 degrees. Cars two and three are at +90 degrees (riders face up). Cars four and five are spinning, both close to +180 degrees. Cars six and seven are just reaching the top of the hill, still at +270 degrees, and the riders are facing the ground.
On this downhill section, we see that the first car has now spun forwards a full 360 degrees: from +270 to -90. The other cars are in the process of executing the spin.
The respite from spinning lasts only a few track lengths. The first car has begun spinning negatively and is now at -180 degrees. Home | Back | Continue >> |
