What can I say about myself that won't result in me acquiring my very own stalker?

I'm a survivor of a five-year Chemical Engineering program at the University of Waterloo. The main appeal of the place was the co-op. Also, the fact that it was far enough away to live on my own but close enough to go home every once in a while was nice too. I've been able to think of Waterloo as "home away from home", although I'm too much of a big city girl to consider a permanent move. But it was a great time in my life.

"Home" for me will always be Toronto. The photo at the left is one that I took during "Doors Open" in 2001, an annual event where places that are usually closed to the public or costs an admission is open for everyone for free. Kind of a cool image, isn't it? The old and the new, the famous and the not-so-famous, the city and nature, all in one, which is basically how I feel about this place. As a born and raised Torontonian, I can't imagine living anywhere else in the world. I've lived in the same house all my life, which is kind of rare these days, I think. I live with my parents and my two younger bros (for now...). And then there are my good friends, my Girls, who have known me for the majority of my life.

But that doesn't mean that I don't like travelling. I LOVE travelling! A few years ago I jetted off to France, which was an amazing experience.  But lately I've been touring around my own country.  I've almost covered all the provinces.

These days, I'm working as a Quality Assurance Associate at a generic pharmaceutical company just outside the city.  The work is okay but the people in my department are great!  I haven't had this much fun at work in a long time.

That's me, pretty much.  School, Home, Work, and the World.  All four are covered here, in varying degrees of detail, so feel free to snoop around.  And let me know if any of the pages need some more tinkering.
