Uwe sold this BikeE recumbent on eBay and made enough money to buy a Mazda station wagon.
Our 1990 Mazda 323 passed the state inspection in May with flying colors, has no rust, good tires, and new brakes. We particularly enjoy the sun roof and the extra space: The trunk has plenty of room for a couple of little boys -- or Uwe's entire fleet of folding bicycles.
Uwe's folding fleet includes: two Brompton folders (one red, one green),
one Dahon folder,
and one Giant folder; and they all fit into the Mazda.
We will keep our faithful 1992 Daihatsu Cuore for emergencies or visitors who are not afraid to drive stickshift.
