Engine: Nissan FJ20, 2litre, 16 valves twin overhead Cams. Ported Head.
Induction: Modified Twin 45mm Webbers.
Exhaust: Hurricane Headers with 2.5 inch exhaust.
Driveline: 5 Speed gearbox with close ratio Hollinger gear set, Custom Tail Shaft, Locked rear diff with choice of three ratio's. (4.11, 4.6 & 4.875)
Brakes:Front - 260mm vented disk with Sumitomo four spot calipers
Rear - Solid disk with Toyota Corona Caliper.
Front Suspension: Height adjustable coil over springs (Eibach). Custom built adjustable Koni shocks. Adjustable strut tops for camber and castor. Nurathane Bushes throughout.
Rear Suspension: Lowered Kings springs. Custom built adjustable Koni shocks. Adjustable camber and toe.
Interior: Stripped bare with Sparco race seat and Willans 6 point, 3" harness. Adjustable brake bias, Oil pressure gauge, Oil pressure warning light, Water temp, Fuel level, master kill switch, Tacho and Fire Extinguisher.
Planned Modifications
Thicker Sway Bars: Replacement of both front and rear sway bars to something stronger, possibly 24mm front, 19mm rear. This will be done in the next couple of months.
Further Modifications to Strut Tops: The strut tops are great, but we need a little more camber. This means pulling the strut tops out for a re-think and further modifications. (Completed!)
New Instrument Cluster Display: At the end of this season, we plan to pull out the existing dash fascia and replace with a pflat piece of Aluminium. This will allow us to house more gauges and have a layout that is more user friendly while driving.
Rewire of Electrical System: Again at the end of the season, while the dash is out, we plan to remove the entire wiring harness and rewire the whole car with just the essential items being connected.
New colour Scheme: The paint is getting a little tired now, so a fresh coat should help to freshen it all up. This will be done during the off season.
Quad Throttle Body Injection: Replacement of the twin webbers with Quad throttle bodies to improve performance and tunability.
Big Horsepower Engine: A new engine is planned in the next year. This engine will be capable of over 250bhp and rev to 9,000rpm. Keep an eye on the latest developments page.
