French Follies

Bonjour tout le monde!!! Last week, in honour of Bastille Day I made a little trip to Gay Paris!! The City of Love and Lights. Those Frenchies certainly know a thing or two about style - and food for that matter. If I had stayed any longer I'm sure I would have ruined my svelte figure with all those pastries and red wine. I have to tell you,

J'dore Paris. A salon and boulaungrie on every corner. It was made for yours truly. I even managed to find time, in between salon visits, to surprise a few Parisians. I tell you they don’t appreciate being snuck up on. I even managed to catch a couple of Kiwi tourists as I popped around the corner of the Eiffel Tower. How they enjoyed the lovely surprise from home!

Speaking of Eiffel Tower, here is your favourite elf below the tower itself. I apologise for the unusual angle but Jean-Luc insisted on taking an arty shot. Who’s Jean-Luc? I hear you asking. Ladies and Gentlemen I do not kiss and tell, but lets just say he was just a little French apéritif during my stay.

Next is the lovely Arc de Triomphe. It was built to commemorate Napoleon and his Great Army and don’t I look just sooo majestic standing in front of it. I do admire that Napoleon. He knew a thing or two about style, even if he was a shortie. I suppose one can’t help one’s height. Every day I thank God, or which ever Supreme Being I worship this week for my beauty.

I managed to pop in a spot of culture during my stay and visit Le Louvre Museum. Oh it was too piquant. Such gorgeous paintings by famous artists even! Well who knew? All it needs now is a portrait of moi. I wonder if they would like me to send them one? I’m afraid I’m not looking at the camera in this shot as I caught my reflection in the fountain as the photo was being taken and could not look away. I am a sexy beast, non?

That is my dispatch from Paris. I hope you all enjoyed it and I wish you a belated happy Bastille day!!

Au revoir, ma cherees...
