He's the pitcher nobody wanted to sign.
Everyone thought his career was over; I believe the Blue Jays released him as a free agent..eh... Like USA today said, he was like Vanilla Ice trying to get back into the music buisness. In November, he was spoonfed to every GM in Major League Baseball, everybody turning him down. Days from when he was going to be Independent League meat, He was signed last minute to the White Sox. As this bad boy was in the making, he was 7-2 so far on the season, racing neck and neck with Mike Mussina for top pitcher in the AL with a miniscule ERA of a buck ninety nine, second in wins, but first in ERA in the American League. Yeah, he is that damn good, and this site was created to stress that. and of course, to ridicule all the teams who turned him down.
