This story is very short. I haven't thought of a main plot o it. I just wrote of what came out of my head. This is my very first ever fanfiction. Sorry if its a little bit too boring. I'll do better next time. This story is about Liz and Max in the diner.
Story: In the cafe Liz almost spilled a try of milk shakes on her costumer when she saw that Max walked in. Liz always felt a weird feeling in her when she sees him. After Liz ringed up her costumers order she went to Max's table and sat next to him.
"Wouldn't you get in trouble for slacking on the job?" Max said in a joking tone.
"It's my break" Liz replied with a grin. "If you want anything, I can quickly go get ..." Liz was interrupted when she noticed Kyle walked through the entrance of the cafe.
"What's wrong?" Max asked with a concerned look on his face.
"Oh nothing" Liz quickly said.
When Max turned to see what caught Liz's gaze he and Kyle both caught each others eye at the same time.
"Hello Liz, and Max," Kyle said as he walked towards Liz and Max's table. "Liz, I'd like a large strawberry shake and a small order of fries." Kyle ordered.
"Kyle, as you can see I'm on my break." Liz said with an annoyed tone.
"If your on your break than who's running the cafe?" Kyle asked with a confused look.
"Maria is running the...wait a minute, where is she?" Liz said as she observed the room.
Liz had no choice she had to take Kyle's order. After Liz got behind the counter, Kyle walked up and said "I'd like a strawberry shake and two dates with you, please."
Liz gave half a smile "I'm sorry I we don't serve dates here, would that be all?"
"No, I'd like a small order of fries with that," Kyle said with a stern look in his eyes.
After Liz gave Kyle his order and Kyle left, Max sat on one of counter stools.
"I don't like him that much" Max said in low voice.
Liz didn't hear Max's reply.
"Max, wasn't Maria here when I took my break?" Liz asked.
"I believe she was, maybe she had to use the ladies room," Max replied. "I'm sorry Liz, but I have to go, I promised Isabel I'd be home in 5 minute's, Do you think you'll be okay all by yourself?" Max asked holding Liz's hand.
"Oh, I'll be perfectly fine. The cafe closes in 10 minute's anyway. I'll see you tomorrow?" Liz replied.
"You bet!" Max said as he leaned in to kiss Liz good-bye, but he quickly backed away when he heard the door open.
"Oops, didn't mean to interrupt you too, but there was a call her about 15 minuets ago and the caller mentioned there has been a robbery, is everything okay?" The policeman asked.
"Robbery? No, sorry officer but there must be a big mistake, no one here called in for a robbery." Liz said with a confused look.
The officer gave both Liz and Max a suspicious look, " The call was from a girl named Maria, do you know her?"
"MARIA?!" Max and Liz said at the same time.
