I had a step-mother this BIG
as big as God himself
my step-mother never hit me
my step-mother never pinched me
my step-mother loved me
I loved my step-mother, too.
My father was scared of my step-mother
every night in the meadows of the sky
my step-mother and I smoked the hookah
my step-mother got high on the smoke of the hookah
at my father's house hookah was forbidden
God danced with my step-mother
God was our friend
God played with us, he didn't cheat
every night he told us stories
I fell asleep to God's stories
God didn't scowl
God's stories were delicious as winter nuts
I liked God's stories more than the stories
in the bible and the Koran
God was lonely
except for me and my step-mother, he had no friends
