Biography The change in careers has taken many people by surprise, including friends, who still can't reconcile the stay-at-home mom with the writer of sensual, boundary-pushing stories. When asked where her source of inspiration comes from, Carly merely grins. After all, the imagination is much more potent and arousing than anything she could say in response! But writing about love comes easily since she's been married to her college sweetheart for the past 10 years. He's certainly grown used to the laughs and the jokes about "research"! Carly published her first book, Brazen with Harlequin Temptation in June 1998 thanks to persistence, determination, revisions, and a very dedicated editor. Little did the editor know Carly had 10 completed manuscripts written before she ever sold one! When asked if she could write a red-hot romance, Carly said yes, then set about singeing her fingers while writing Brazen. She hasn't looked back since. Carly looks forward to writing many more sexy stories for her readers who have been vocal about enjoying the hotter Temptation books! Family is important to Carly. She has a close relationship with both her mom and dad, who have supported her in everything she's ever done. She tries to pass those same positive values on to her children. Carly lives in Purchase, New York, with her husband, two young daughters, and a frisky Wheaton terrier puppy.
