Graffiti Bridge
Released date
High Level Review
Another "patchwork quilt" album, this double record was done in support of the movie of the same name and features other artists: The Time, George Clinton, Mavis Staples, and Tevin Campbell. The music is often complex, but is in general more rock oriented than earlier albums.

Notes
The movie Graffiti Bridge was a flop that fans won't even defend. (Many of us like Under the Cherry Moon).
While the phrase "New Power Generation" was introduced
on Lovesexy, the concept is truly developed here,
and many of the band mambers continue on to form the NPG band.
