The Hits/B-Sides
Released Sept 14th 1993
High Level Review
Finally, Prince allowed Warners to release a "Greatest Hits" collection. Disc 1 is mostly "clean" material, Disc 2 has an explicit lyrics warning label, and Disc 3 is almost all of Prince's excellent B-sides. There are 5 not-previously released songs on the collection.

Notes
Many fans believe that the release of a Greatest Hits collection proves the death of the "old" Prince persona, because it is so against everything that Prince ever stood for. The fact that the artwork is replete with death/old age images combined with the name change to a symbol lend credence to this theory. Others believe it's just a bow to commercial pressure.
