Prince's second is musically similar to his first, although it showcases an even wider range of musical talent,
from soft ballads to hard guitar, still dominated by smooth synthetic melodies.
Lyrics
While there are some touching ballads, there are also several songs on this album center on the longing,
unhappy side of love.
