Chevy II Nova Page 3
Gotta have that body straight because this Chevy II is getting a BMW jetblack paint job. These pictures were taken after the wet sanding. As you can see, the windshield and some of the stainless trim was being installed.
Finally the time has come to set the blower motor into the chassis and fire it up for breakin. All the interior dash panel with gauges and electrical wiring had been started along with the shifter and steering.
At last, the fenders and doors were hung for the final time and all the new stainless accessories installed. It's really starting to come together quickly. The engine compartment is clean since all the electronics are hidden under the dash.
The fiberglass Harwood cowl induction hood is cut, painted and installed to clear the air cleaners. Also, a Harwood fiberglass trunk decklid was used trying to cut down some additional weight. Looks like we're ready to fly.
Front view of the engine compartment and interior all completed. If you have any questions, just leave a message on the Guestbook page and I'll be glad to e-mail you back.
