January 30th - Axl buys the rights to the Guns n' Roses Name.-
He can now put out any music he wants under that moniker, played by anyone he chooses.
March 19th - Axl has a Meetings with Moby about producing the next album-
Spokes person tells MTV news "Axl and Moby have been getting along quite well on a personal level, and are currently testing their professional chemistry to see if the union would work." (Moby wound up not working on the album).
April 20th - Chris Vrenna has met with GN'R and Robin Fink jammed with them

May 23 - Mike Clinc confirmed as working on production for next album.
June 1st - West Arkeen passes away.-
Co writer on some songs and long term friend of the band. RIP.
June - Reports of Matt Sorum being fired surface.

During an Aol chatt but states he will not be working with them . Of band line up he says "G N' R are made up of a bunch of great guys, you will know who when they tell you ".-
