Canadian Impersonator STEVE MATHIESON formally of GASOLINE ALLEY and STONEFACE presents his first solo and most complete tribute to ROD STEWART ever. All Rod, all night. With more than fourty vintage classics, alternating chunky bass thumping songs with wistful love ballads and "weep-in-your-pint" story songs about lost mates and long gone good times.
Steve takes on the difficult task of emulating the look, sound and personality of Rod Stewart. Like Rod, Steve was also born with Scottish and English roots.
Before Rod Stewart entered his life in 1971 Steve was drawn to the same soulful sounds of Otis Redding, Sam Cook and The Temptations.
After seeing Rod Stewart live in December 1971, Steve knew he had just witnessed something very unique and special. What he didn't know was that his life would never be the same, at least not until early 1990.
For the past 10 years, Steve Mathieson has performed as a tribute artist portraying the legendary Rod Stewart with hit tunes spanning over 3 decades.
If you love the raspy crooning of Rod, then you'll be amazed at Steve's uncanny portrayal that has audiences wondering if he is really singing or not.
Some of Steve's repertoire includes hits like Maggie May,
Forever Young, Have I Told You Lately?, Hot Legs and many more!
Steve delivers a memorable and unforgettable performance that
leaves the audience wanting more. He is currently performing with the "Legendary Rockers Tribute Show" and is available for bookings with his solo endeavour in The Rod Stewart Review.
In conclusion, Steve says, "It's the interaction between the audience that keeps me "Forever Young""!!
