History: Sabine's mother worked as a maid in a prosperous household where Sabine worked at her side from the age of six. Her father, Guilliame worked at a tallow factory. When Sabine was twelve, her mother died of the cholera morbus, contracted from caring for the ill children of her employers. Two years after Eleanore's death, Guilliame was killed in an accident at the factory. From the age of fourteen, Sabine supported herself with her maid work, eventually ending up as the cleaning woman the the Police Headquarters in Paris.
