A good trick in getting a gold chocobo is to save your game outside the Farm then breed the chocobos, if you don't get the right result, reset and try again. The section also explains Greens and Nuts.

	Greens make your chocobo faster, smarter and have more stamina. The best ones are the most expensive but all you need to do is buy 2 Sylkis Greens, then you equip the W-Item Materia and use the trick that multiplies the item you use. To do this, select one item and use it on someone, then do the same with the other item but when then pointer is on a character press Cancel and you will find another of that item in your inventory. Just repeat the Cancelling bit 'til you have 99 (or less if you prefer)

	Nuts are an item that is given to the pair of chocobos that you breed to ensure that you will get a different breed. The 2 best ones can be stolen. The Carob Nut is needed for breeding all but the Gold Chocobo. You can steal this from the Vlakorados in the area below Bone Village. The Zeio Nut is needed to get a Gold Chocobo, This can be stolen from Goblins in the forest on Goblin Island Check the locations on the World Map by clicking here Also, race your Chocobos up to at least rank A - This will increase your chances of getting what you want. And getting a Gold Chocobo is virtually impossible unless the chocobos your are using are both Rank S.
