She had stood and listened to the others as they
spoke seeing the love that Marion had for
Jack. She watched her gaze up to Jack as she found out he was to go with
them. She asked in a sad whispering voice if he was
leaving and he answered that he was
only going with Artimus. She smiled slightly as he commented..."Just
with Artimus, but I can travel through dimesions baby.
I can almost be at two places at one time. As she looked to Marion and saw the look on her face
as the man said he was going yet
she conformed to the idea and sighed a bit as she spoke softly..."Good..
cause right now I need you love.. and he happily answered...aye
I shall be there for you.
Marion then squeezes his hand a bit tighter as her dizziness
increased. She sighed and looked to them silently and without
thinking of Marion's state of pregnacy
she spoke out...."You can come ..if you like. She had seen that
Marion seemed not in good shape to be alone at a time
like this. As she watched she could see that
something was happening to Marion as she held onto Jack.
It seemed as if the energy within Jack was surging
into her body trying to prolong her
dizziness. As she watched she could hear Artimus as he did not agree
she should go considering the possible danger they
would encounter. He said...."I don't think
Marion would be comfortable with the fate of the possible inhabitants of
the Isle. And as she watched she heard Marion speak
softly...and close her eyes letting the
energy fill her..."Tis up to Jack m'lady." She turned to Artimus listening
as he continued....."she and her father are the only
exceptions to my wrath." She looked to him
silently and smiled ..."Yes ok course." but Artimus seemed to reconsider
as he said "but if she likes she can come along.
It was then that Jack spoke up and with conviction in his voice he said.."Aye I will have you with me
but when it's too dangerous
I will get you out of it. His word seem to brighten the look on Marions
face as she answered.. Alright love... but you should know I can
handle a sword very well..
Mystique only smiled as she looked to them and then turned back to look
out to sea. Marion continued talking as she watched
the sea....Maybe this tis what we need...
to be alone for awhile... away from the stress.. maybe the sickness will
go away as well. |

She watched as the waves slow went along the ship
as she heard Jack reply to Marion...I do not wish you to fight or to have harm done to you
or the baby in any way. She
looked back to the lady silently and agreed with Jack.."I do not wish any
harm come to you M'lady" Marion looked to
them both and smiled...."Thank you both for your
concern Jack I will nae do anything to myself or to harm the child... that
I promise you..Jack answered Marion..."aye I know you won't.As she
listened to them she looked to Artimus as if asking for
reassurance. As if he had read her mind he looked to
her and said...."Marion can handle herself, Her father taught her well I
believe" and Marion spoke cheerfully for once "Aye... that he
has, I have weilded a sword
from the time I could hold one..But I respect Jack's wishes and shall
nae..".Jack looked to her lovingly and answered...as I respect
all of your wishes my love.. I
know you do m'love...whispered Marion as she smiled to him. Then they
kissed softly as she watched them silently. Mystique then looked
to Artimus and whispered softly ... "Alright" and then she looked
at them and moved silently away toward
the front of the ship and looked out into the sea.
As she looked out to sea a blue fog appeared on
the ship as the fog cleared a young woman was
left standing in it's wake. The young woman spoke in a soft voice as she
said hello. Artimus turned to the girl and smiled .... "Hi
Cef" She turned at the sound of
a voice behind her and smiled slowly as she saw the girl ..and said hello
as well. The girl turned to Artimus and returned the greeting to
him...hello Artimus ahe then
turned to her and said..."hello Mistique" and smiled. Confused she looked
to the girl wondering who she was and how she knew of her. Do I
know you ? her mind had been clouded by memories could not
remember her. I am Lady Fair the girl answered softly. Mystique could only look to the girl
still unsure of thier meeting and spoke
quietly..."I see...well hello then" and the girl nodded slowly looking at
her.
Artimus spoke up all of a sudden and informed her
that the dear lady is among the crew as
well, for a while. Lady Fair looked to Artimus and smiled as she
whispered..."nice to see you again how are things going here
aboard the ship?" and he looked
to her and answered "and you as well...Well we're on a mission now"
Lady Fair surprise said.."really!" Artimus turnedto Mystique and
yelled ..right Misti? On the railing Mystique looked to the
waters as she thought of the past silently.
Jack looked to the railing at the her and asked...Reminicing of the
past are you misty? She turned to the sound of their
voices and smiled softly answering to both...
yes...then turned back to look at the sea. Lady Fair turned back to
Artimus as shw whispered to him.."what is the mission?"
Able to hear everything due to his abilities
Jack turned to them as well... " the mission awh yes" and smirks.
Artimus looked to Jack and then back to Lady
Fair..."We sail for the Dark Isles." |

She watched them silently as sighs as Marion and
Jack seems so happy. She watched
Atimus and Lady Fair and wondered about them as well. She then
turned and walked the hatching leading to the cabin below
and walked down to the stairs to her room
silently. She entered her room and moved to the bed and sat feeling
the rhythm of the rocking of the ship upon the waves.
She began to get a feeling of impending
doom as the ship made it's way to the island. Artimus seeing her
walk down below followed. As she sat there alone
feeling an overwhelming sense of danger he
walked to the cabin and knocked. She turned to the door silently and
asked him to enter. The winds outside in the meantime were
gaining force as the hit the
sails rocking the ship. Artimus looked to her silently and ask...." Why
have you come down here alone. When we are all up
there..Come back and join us."
She looked at him silently and sighed. I
feel alone watching Marion and Jack ...they seem so happy" she looked to his eyes silently as
the winds howled angrily outside side. He
took her hand and pulled her to her feet .."Please lets go up with the
others" She nodded and stood as they made their way to the top
deck with the rest of the crew.
She went and stood by the railing and looked out to the angry sea.
As she listen the winds began to howl over the sea as
they made there way to the ship. The ship
rocked as the waves moved thrashing about below. She looked to them
and sighed knowing the island was close now and the
winds were now angry at their journey
to the island. She held the railing as a wave hit the ship suddenly.
Marion slipped of where she sat and Jack fell over the
side as the waves continued to hit the ship and
the winds screamed into the sails. |
