Runners up:Zelda Majora's Mask, Sin and Punishment(import only game),Tommorow Never Dies.

PC game of the year: Half Life Counter Strike-A add on to Half Life, one the best action games ever. This shit was basically crack for gamers, terrorist and loads of weapons helped CS pull some dominance over the competition in the PC market like Deus EX and Baldur's Gate 2.

Runners up: Deus EX, Baldur's Gate 2, Diablo 2.

Best Dreamcast game:Resident Evil Code Veronica-Its not much different than its fellow PS one breathen, but the presentation elevates the game beyond what we would have anticipated. Basically the story is about Claire Redfield on a prison island trying to find her brother Chris and escape alive. With many references to past REs, any nut of the series can dig in and enjoy. If there was a game that PS one owners envied with shit green that they couldn't get their grubby hands on, it was this one.

Runners up: Jet Grind Radio, NFL 2k1, Dead or Alive 2.

Best Playstation game:Chrono Cross-Call us bias, call us whatever, we know all the FF IX fans are going to hate us. Its just we waited for a Chrono Trigger follow-up for years, and finally we got one. The story may be the games weakest attribute, but surely it is better than most. The game has everything else and its deep, a rarity in the post FF 7 era.

Runners up:Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2, Final Fantasy IX, Vagrant Story.

Playstation 2 game of the year:SSX-Snowboarding, WTF!. SSX had charm, imaginative level design was different compared to most snowboarding games, and the snowboarders were edearing too. SSX was the game to own if you picked up a PS2 on the very crazy October 26.

Runners up:Madden NFL 2001, Armored Core 2, Ridge Racer V.
