25.Medal of Honor-Here is the Playstation's best first person shooter ever. Dale Dyne who is a real life veteran of World War II had some input in the game and thus led to the detailed realism of the title. Sure the graphics were alittle dark and grainy, but there just is no matching the satisfaction of taking out a few Nazis.
24.Suikoden-The original Playstation rpg before FF VII. There was more than 100 characters to recruit, a great musical score and best of all six fighters at one time per battle.
23.Xenogears-Its got one hell of a story and well-developed characters. To add to the already anime inspired world, giant mechs called gears were added in. The revolutionary combo system gave this title more depth than rpgs before.
22.R4: Ridge Racer Type 4-It may no be ultra realistic like Sony's Gran Turismo, but thats why we love R4. It is good old fashion Ridge Racer gameplay thats arcadey with some pretty graphics and a smooth controls. Also this Ridge Racer has the hottest female host of any racing game..period.
21.Syphon Filter-The second Syphon Filter was a utter failure, but not the first. When it was released it immediately received accusations of being a Metal Gear Solid rip-off. At first it seems, but soon a few levels in and its easy to see the beauty of this game. Metal Gear Solid was a great action game experience but Syphon Filter was a great action game.
20.Twisted Metal 2-Forget that this game is old, forget that Twisted Metal Black rules every other car combat game out there. Just to see how much of this game was played by us and more and likely you, that alone is reason enough for us to give this game its' dues. Too bad the next two in the series were stinky pieces of poo.
19.Madden NFL 2001-No one can touch Visual Concepts' sports lineup but the Madden series was here before any NFL2K. It looks arcahic but its' gameplay is anything but. Lets also take into consideration that this version of Madden handles more realistic than the PS 2 edition...how sad. Best sports game in Playstation history.
18.Lunar Silver Star Story Complete-Working Designs set a new standard for packaging. Not only was this classic rpg re-done, but it also came bundled with loads of extra material. It may have been pricey but for any rpg nut to consider themselves a true rpger, than it was worth the price.
17.Crash Bandicoot 3 Warped-Really the Crash games are kinda overrated, and they bring nothing but a grain of sand of originality to platformers. We still had to honor what probably was the Playstation mascot. And this was Crash's best outing, why? It had the most diverse lineup of gameplay, and the graphics were killer. Plus a new one to the series, it was actually a challenge to play.
16.Final Fantasy Tactics-Square is always known to make Final Fantast a series of wondrous characters, epic tales, and triple AAA presentation. But this FF doesn't have the most recognizable cast nor is it a epic triumph(Well it is, but in a different way). But you know what, that does not matter, because this game is deep, has a daring story of shady politics, and best of all, it has the old school look of FF. A true classic that should hit the Greatest Hits library soon.
15.Warhawk-Ok so this is more of a salute to one of the reasons why so many bought a PS One, but we have to do it. Back in the day when Single Trac was the premiere 32 bit developer and every game they touched was pure gold. Look at it today and laugh, especially at the movie cut-scenes, but lets all remember what this game did at its' time.
