Disclaimer: This disclaimer has two parts. They are both about the incompleteness of this desc. First of all, I CAN'T put all my stuff on. No seriously. If I were to copy all stuff from DF and Fred's descriptions, then I'd make this page too long. It's getting unwieldy already. Plus I'd have to put down all the spells I claim to have all of, and a brief description, making the thing probably about 50 pages. My opponents don't need to know THAT much.
Second, I don't WANT to give all my abilities up. I put as many as I can remember down. But some are not described, because I want to have some secrets. It's nice of me to oblige people and put up my abilities as a semi-coherent, cohesive and complete thing. I do this because I have faith that even when I reveal all but my trump cards in my strategy, I can still win due to strategy.
History: Fred was originally an entirely normal human boy. Some strange things happened during his life, but he wrote them off as just weirdness among weirdness.
One day, he was visited by two strangers. They had crashed their airship and needed assistance. Fred was sure they were joking. However, something about the strength in both men put him off. They were willing to pay and to work around the house. They claimed to be Thrash and Badcat, two of the most famous Rangers ever (although they were always quite humble about it). At work, they were clearly far beyond normal human capacities. Fred decided to receive training from them.
In the first training session, Thrash and Badcat discovered something. They knew that they had found a natural Magi! Magi are creatures with magic naturally flowing through their body in ways that are quantitatively and qualitatively incredible. Fred worked on a unique chi-magic matrix system, but had never learned to tap it. Thrash and Badcat quickly were able to bring out incredible starting abilities, including powers of flight, energy expulsion, cloaking, etherealization and more!
When the Ranger's Wings was finally repaired, the two Rangers invited Fred along. Fred decided to leave, joining Thrash and Badcat in their adventures. The moment the two crossed dimensional borders, however, some kind of inertia in Fred pulled his world along. The world that Thrash and Badcat had been born on had always been incredibly close, dimensionally, to several other worlds. The movement made the dimensional barriers fall down like a house of cards, establishing a rare interdimensional planet!
Fred joined Thrash and Badcat in some adventures, then went out on his own. He did mercenary work for a long time, gaining a reputation and additional skills. However, the emptiness of his new life saddened him to the core. One night, in the peak of human misery, he made a deal with a scientist working for the American government. The government decided to use his genes and powers in a number of test cases, to see if magic could be made reliable.
Fred underwent traumatic, high-intensity training, involving an attempted rape, exposure to super-soldier serums, and near-death experiences. He managed to keep his sanity throughout the entire procedure, and gained immense amounts of strength. In his dreams, he was able to console and be consoled by a rapidly growing boy who he took to be his son or brother.
One final test had to be done. Fred was placed into the monitoring tanks, filled with a liquid containing nanobots capable of delivering serums and monitoring complex body structures. But Fred heard a tapping on the Plexiglass, which was punctuated by a similar tapping on another tank. Fred opened his eyes for once and stared to the left, seeing the most horrifying thing he had ever laid eyes upon.
He saw himself, perfectly rendered and in fact made better for the comparison, but with disgusting pentagram tattoos that seemed to eternally bleed. He knew at once that somehow he had made a pseudo-psychic connection with a creature who was closer to him than a brother. The creature then turned, and suddenly the world was bathed in red. Fred couldn't see, but he could hear equipment fizzling and exploding, bones cracking, people dying. Even the mighty Frank Higgs, the original scientist of the project and a mutant himself, could not stand the barrage. Only Fred was left. Fred cleanly etherealized through the containment unit, went for his weapons locker, and armed himself.
When he caught up with DF, sirens could be heard in the distance and the blood of the dying was spread all over. Dark Fred offered Fred to join him as an Avatar, working for a sinister supernatural intelligence. Fred refused. The two stared each other down, then immediately left into battle. Dark Fred had boosted his power incredibly, but Fred's anger prompted something within him, unleashing a floodgate of magical power that made his body ache from trying to contain the energy. The battle was the first of many the two would have, and Fred won this round.
Right about this time, Fred also found his way to Furcadia. Here, he met Techmage and other people in the New Haven bar. But Fred could not remain in this idyllic lifestyle indefinitely. He happened to meet Thrash and Badcat again, and finally was able to see the great supernatural intelligence DF was speaking of through a vision. They began travelling, putting aside a short period where Thrash and Badcat suffered from amnesia, and put together a team to battle the evil. Repeated conflicts with evil Empires, Avatars and similar quickly developed their skill.
At this point, Techmage decided to evolve Fred to his next stage of development. But even Techmage did not know what he was unleashing. Fred quickly visited Drock Balban at the Temple of Universal Magis. Fred was spoken of in prophecies and legends that Drock Balban had heard of, and Drock knew that Fred was going to take his place as the premier Power Magi in the universe. The powers in Fred's body were always sufficient to tear his body apart. Fred had subsconsciously kept the powers down, but in doing so he lost some of the capacity to fight the Id within him. Every time the anger oozed through every pore of his body, the hidden energies activated, causing his body to attempt to reshape itself. All Universal Magis felt what Fred did, but only during the transformation stage. Fred had been a Universal Magi Chrysalis all his life.
Fred quickly surpassed all expectations, becoming both in willpower and in raw power the strongest Universal Magi ever. It was the first time he could truly claim to have surpassed his clone in any significant manner. But Dark Fred was not long behind. He came to the King of Blood at the exact moment Fred left Drock Balban. Dark Fred was also a prodigy. What he lacked in raw power he gained in deviousness and skill. Dark Fred soon surpassed his mentor in a similar fashion and was a near equal to Fred. Dark Fred challenged Fred in the New Haven bar, but the battle extended elsewhere. Dark Fred was determined to prove the superiority of the Magi skills to Fred, believing himself to be a god. The visage of the Ultimate Blood Angel reigned in newcasts and rumors throughout the land, as Dark Fred murdered innocents, superhumans and supervillains alike.
Finally, the epic battle took place. Both Fred and Dark Fred fought for hours on end, expelling energies that reshaped the land. Both of the two knew that this would be the final battle between them, that their entire lives rode upon success. Finally, the two were entirely exhausted, Dark Fred having used his abilities to match Fred's power exactly. Fred had used his mighty MagKogRyu technique to push the bounds of his power, but even it was unsuccessful. Finally, Fred lowered his power to an absolute zero, as if he was about to transform back to human. DF matched him, assuming he had won. Fred then quickdrawed Justice and shot Dark Fred in the heart.
Dark Fred was not dead. His regenerative skills and raw will kept him alive. He had finally realized something. All of the evil in Fred's heart had been transferred to him in the initial cloning. Although Fred had reached a raw power that was unprecedented, his emotional turmoil was keeping him from reaching one final plateau. Dark Fred made an offer that initially repulsed him: the offer for the two to unite as one being. Fred was shocked. Neither being wanted to take that final step, but Dark Fred wanted to live, and if victory was kept him, then surely life as an incredibly powerful being would work. Fred decided that it was better to end the legacy this way, rather than have to keep one eye eternally on Dark Fred's grave. The two united.
After strange visions, Fred awoke. Dark Fred's bald head had united with his ponytail to offer him a Samurai-style topknot. Fred rose to his feet, and suddenly realized that his pain was over. The darkness was finally in control. As Jung's Magician, Fred had finally assimilated the Dragon, the Shadow into his working. Fred had finally achieved happiness and salvation, after years of misery and pain.
The transformation was complete. Fred was now one of the strongest beings in the universe, and he was determined to prove it. The Golden Knight had been awakened, and the doors to the All-Monster's palace were open. The rag tag team of compatriots that he, Thrash and Badcat had assembled had grown into a veritable army of the strongest, best equipped warriors one could find. The time to siege the pocket universe the All-Monster was sealed in had come.
Blades swung, arrows flew, bullets rocketed. The All-Monster's minions were slain quickly. Even the previously almighty Avatars were destroyed by Fred alone. The battle with the All-Monster lay in front of them. Fred attempted to fight the All-Monster alone. Had it been a fight outside of the All-Monster's dimension, Fred would have won. But he was fighting a monster who had residues of the powers of the Fates within a dimension of him. Fred was inevitably thrown down, but his efforts energized the team. Although the group could only fight with a few members at a time, the All-Monster began to be thoroughly trounced. Although Firebrand, Thrash, Badcat, Azmad Azral, and other reputed heroes fell, the All-Monster was losing. He decided to turn the tides by utilizing symbolism, uniting with the entirety of Evil as an archetype.
The battle looked lost, but the Golden Knight was not beaten. He used a legendary spell to unite every member of the team into one deadly being. He himself prayed, gaining the emotional support of all who the team was fighting for. The powers of Good and Evil fought their own war as archetypes, as their servants raged in battle below. The All-Monster was again on the losing team. The Golden Knight was newly rejuvenated, but the All-Monster was exhausted and pummeled. The battle inevitably turned to the tide of Good, and the Golden Knight's blade made one last swing, energized by the hopes and dreams of all of Fred's companions.
Fred spent a few days in a hospital after the battle, pondering what would happen. The team was able to loot the All-Monster's dimension before it collapsed as a result of the death of evil. He had gone from a completely normal kid to one of the most powerful beings in the universe, and his companions had joined with him. Every one of them was now famous in their hometowns, filthy rich, and possessed of abilities beyond their wildest dreams.
Fred decided to return, among other places, to Furcadia. He is now married to a beautiful woman, possessed of children, and growing ever stronger. He continues to battle, awaiting an opponent worthy enough to defeat him.
Marital Status: Married to Dauwn.
