My Fighting Game

During my mad quest to make a game for every single genre imaginable, I decided to make a cohesive fighting game. Here now is the complete list of everything completed:

Glossary:

Orientation: Orientation decides a few things. Orientation is one's alignment, good or evil. An evil aligned character will fight Armored Ninja Samurai at the end, while good character will fight Grand Ultimate Evil Master. In addition, on easier difficulties, one may fight only one or two of the secondary bosses (Bruno, Jimmo). The secondary boss one will fight in this case depends on Orientation as well. On a more minor note, Tyvariel's holy attacks do more damage to Evil oriented characters.

Rival: Rivals are those who either compete with or hate each other. A rival makes an additional boss. In Hard games, one may fight their Rival character twice, once in a regular match and once in a Grudge Match. In addition, there are two grades of rivalry: Friendly or Deadly. All rival rounds are particularly intense: moves do more damage, attributes are raised, certain rules and regulations that might be put in are revoked or ignored, and so on. In addition, in an AI/FI (Fred Intelligence) round, Rivals have far greater skill than regular opponents. Friendly rivalries will NOT end in Endgame (Fatality), but Deadly matches will automatically end in some form of Endgame. Depending on one's win-or-loss record, one may move on past a Friendly rivalry that was lost; however, Deadly rivalries that end in the player's defeat end the game. Deadly rivalries are even more intense than Friendly Rivalries. All Rivalries are mutual, but their nature is not; see the next example for exaplanation.

Examples of Friendly and Deadly Rivalries: Metachron and Master Anthra are old friends with disagreements about the item that empowers Metachron. If they fight, it will be a friendly match and will not end in death. However, Big Dozer and Super-Killer are rival robots designed to be the best. They will only accept smashing the other into individual circuits. Note that Friendly rivalries need not necessarily be friendly; Organic Fission has distinct orders to bring back Myne ALIVE, meaning a Friendly Rivalry, albeit with the intensity of a Deadly Rivalry (keep in mind that most people who are hunting another character are out for blood; Mawk and Tempest being good examples). However, Myne has a Deadly rivalry with Organic Fission, because he does not want to be captured.

Battle Arena:

Funds: When this option is turned on, characters may win money based upon performance. When they win this money, it can be used to go into Training Programs to strengthen attributes. A full list of Training Programs is listed below Options and Codes.

Endgame: A Fatality/Danger Move sort of attack.

AI/FI: Artificial Intelligence, or when I'm controlling it, Fred Intelligence.

Game Options:

Single Player: Go through the tournament on your own. Select Easy, Medium or Hard difficulties. Take time out for Training.

2-Player Match: Simple: one player vs. another.

3+ Player Match: Multiple players against each other.

Bloodpool: This match requires Gore on (I am finding some plausible way to replace blood should Gore be turned off). All players are given a pool size. Whenever someone sheds blood, their blood is put into the cache of the person who shed it. Organic Fission's blood from his self-explosion is divided evenly among the target of the damage and Organic Fission's own supply, ASSUMING he hits the target; if he misses, all of his blood is divided evenly among all players except himself. Default has medium-sized pools and Respawns, meaning that characters can be killed, but will come back after a certain period of time. A option is available initially for Invulnerability, and one can get a code that puts regular life limits.

Training: This is not to be confused with in-game training. One can run through some of the in-game training courses or just practice their moves on a "dummy".

Gym: Choose a character. This will be your manager character. You can either hire some talent with Funds received at the beginning or fight yourself. The stakes are higher for the second option: if you do well, other fighters will join you for lowered or no cost, but if you don't do well, potential death and greater loss of Funds are possible.

Characters (including Orientation, Rivalry, Battle Arena, Special Moves, Special Advantages, Taunts and Weapon): Note: Hopefully portraits and full pictures will be coming soon.

Options/Codes:

Options:

Gore Off: This turns off all blood, dismemberment, and other explicit features.

Home Field Advantage: This option gives slight advantages to those fighting in their own battle arena.

Limited Gravity Control: One can change the gravity to Moon up to Small Gas Planet. Try fighting in Tempest's battles!

Limited Stage Size Control: One can change the relative size of a stage.

Stage Select: In multiplayer, this allows people to choose the stage they want to fight in.

Taunt Phase: With this option on, characters go through a sort of "glory procedure"; certain characters can do transformations and such. Taunts vary depending on the character.

Codes:

Complete Gravity Control: All types of gravity, from Zero-G to Sun, are allowed.

Regular Life Bloodpool: Characters can permanently get "killed" in Bloodpool. Certain amounts of lives can be assigned, however.

Reverse Controls: Both players have reversed controls! Have fun!

Stage Select- Single Player: When one unlocks this code, they can set a Stage Select in single player matches. This is a major help against enemies

Turn Off Special Moves: This allows people to disallow special moves.

Training Modes:

Anatomy Training: A detailed lecture on anatomy, followed by exercises. This boosts chances to strike critical zones.

Dam Sum Sing: Characters are put into a gym and are pummeled by gym workers or other characters. This adds to strength, endurance, and similar.

Iron Hand: The character spends time smashing his hand through pebbles, rocks, sand, crushed steel, and so on. This builds up potential parry damage and punch damage, and has specific benefits for certain characters.

Pain Training: The character goes through excruciating pain, ranging from being boiled alive to being crucified. Depending on the exercise, minor bonuses to other statistics (fire resistance and so on) are gained. The main benefit is to cut down on pain and blackout penalties.

Technique Training: Characters only start out with some of the techniques on their move list. Technique Training can be individualized or can be done with a master, with costs varying on the quality of the "education". New moves can be learned, as well as minor attribute bonuses.

Vitamins: This category are all nutrition-packed or drug-based instant boosts.
