Clarice was a young girl in a deadly world. In her world, Apacolypse had actually taken over North America. His concentration camps housed humans instead of mutants. Some of these camps were Beasts own gene pool, where he took samples of different mutants and used them to better others and even did a little bit of cloning. Clarice had joined a group of mutants the fought against this dictator. This group was lead by Magneto, who took on the task in the place of Charles Xavier, who died years before this. This group of mutants fought hard to free their world of this evil and took things to the extreme. After a long battle, their world returned to the original one. Xavier never died, which kept the world from turning into the Age of Apacolypse. Clarice on the other hand was thrown into this world by accident. When she arrived, she knew nothing of who she was, or where she was. After wondering the streets for a few months, a man approached her with a chose. He asked her to join his mutants so they could help mutants make a difference by striking fear into the humans. He wanted to make an impression that mutants were superior to humans. Reluctant at doing so, Clarice joined. She resided with this group for some time until kidnapped by Ash in a battle against Apacolypse. Ash took her hostage and kept her in the Danger room until Jean was able to unlock her memories of who she was. Months passed and Jean was able to break through the barrier that kept Clarice's memories dormant. After that, Clarice joined the new team of mutants hoping that she could prevent what happened in her world.

Clarice really hasn't established herself as any particular part on the team. She stays with the group hoping to protect them, rather than herself. Ash is seen as the reluctant one. Always ready to jump into a fight but yet not so sure about his decisions about certain tasks at hand. His anger consumes him in a fight, but also holds him back. He is strong but weak, and unless he becomes more confident in his decisions, he will never be able to become the great leader he so strives to be. David is the little brother she never had. Always ready to have fun but knowing when things are serious. He strives to become great like Ash but is afraid that his brother will look down on him. He tries hard but the others don't view him as a leader. David's strength is his strong point and keeps him trying to become a better person. Antony is that preppy guy that everyone sees at school. He tries to out do everyone so that he can look better. Thinking he is god's gift to women says much about his ego, but this is a bigger down fall than he thinks. Oliver is the little english kid next door. He tries hard at everything he does and even has the snotty english attitude that everyone hates. His attempts at stepping forth and becoming a leader are knocked back by his age and immaturity. Though he belives himself to be mature, this always shows signs of immaturity. Stan is the brother she wished she never had. His wise cracks and jokes at serious times tire out easily. Though he tries to do things right, he often has things blow up in his face. With the adversity of his abilities, he could become greater than her friend Morph.

After Ash's decision to disband the team, Blink ventured off. Her whereabouts is unknown at this time but she has been seen on the news in various occasions fighting against renegade mutants.
