Black Rainbow CBS

The custom battle system (CBS) I am creating is completely new and original, and will include combo attacks, and rapid fire moves.

Black Rainbow Logo- This has no effect on gameplay. It fills and depletes as the battle progresses. Used primarily for visual effects only.

Face Pics- Used to show the hero, and their stats. Their stats consist of HP, Health Points, and SP, Special Points (MP).

Meters- These are ATB Meters, once filled, you attack. The first hero with a full meter attacks first.

Attack- One hit attacks, common in all battle systems.

Axe: The special ability of Neo. Axe requires SP. Axe is made up of attacks, the first being swipe. All of the Axe attacks are combos. Swipe consisting of three attacks. When you select Swipe, it does the first move in the combo automatically. You then have one second to input the next button (/\, \/, >, or <) to continue the combo. If you press the wrong button, the combo ends. If you press the right button, then Neo will do the next attack in the combo. This will continue until you press the wrong button, or the combo is ended. There is no way of knowing what buttons to push, except by trial and error, but after completing the combo, the keys required to do it will be shown in the Menu (CMS).

Defend- You will have the option to defend, which is to prevent a certain percentage of damage, or Parry, which is a counter attack.

Item- Use an item, present in most battle systems.

Run- Attempt to escape from battle, name pending.

Specials:

Neo- Axe
Combo Specials
Weapon: Axes

Carbon- Fire
Rapid Hit Specials
Weapon: Guns

Brandi- Canine
Combo Specials
Weapon: Claws

Noelle- Heal
Rapid Hit Specials
Weapon: Rods

Combo Specials:
When you select the special attack, you do the first move in the combo, then you press one of the directional keys to continue the combo. By pressing the correct button, then the combo continues, with the attack damage piling up. By pressing the incorrect button, the combo ends, and you do the damage you accumulated during the special. Each combo special has a set number of attacks, and upon completing all of them, the combo ends, with the last attack being the most powerful.

Rapid Hit Specials:
When you select the special attack, you will be presented with an amount of time (2-3 seconds) to rapidly press enter as fast as you can. The more times you press enter during the time, the more powerful the special attack will be.

The lower special attacks require the least amount of SP, while the higher special attacks require the most amount of SP.
