Modifications To Engine

The HotShot Powerstack intake was the very first mod on my car. The powerstack had very pleasing results. For one it added a wicked growl that makes people stop and look, some look in disbelief that a saturn could make such a noise. Click Here to here the sound of the powerstack on a saturn. Also the powerstack has been dyno tested by SPS to add aprox. 8 HP! The HotShot powerstack also comes with a K & N Airfilter to ensure maximum air flow.

I have recently pulled out the Brue spark plugs because I was havin problems with them. Now I have installed NGK V-Power Spark Plugs. They were installed at saturn during one of my 30,000 service. Well they cleared up all the problems that I have had with the breu's and even have increased the throttle responce a little. I will stick with these plugs becuase they are a good plug and don't cost a arm and a leg. After all the ignition combo's I have tried these plugs seem to work the best well that is it for now.

Well I recently have changed to these plugs wire's becuase I snapped off a cam cover bolt (do'h) while installin the Nology Hotwire's after a tune up. So bye bye ground. So I was lookin for a cheap altternative and found these at my local auto parts store. Plus they had them in the color I wanted "Yellow". Well I installed them and I really did notice all that much from them maybe a hint of better acceleration. Hey you can't beat them for $30. So I will keep em for now as long as I don't have any problems from them.

Mobile 1 Fluids

Well I change out the the engine oil to Mobil 1 5w30 and also change the Trans Fluid to Mobil 1. I did notice that the car ran smoother and that the transmission shifts were smoother also. I have not noticed a increase in oil consumption. I am watching this very carefully sice these are synthetic fluids. All and all I am very pleased with Mobil 1 Products

SPS Engine/Tranny Torque Links

I installed these mounts in place of the factory one's. They did help increase the trottle responce and also when I step on the gas it goes no mushy feeling to the acceleration. Since they were made by the same company that makes the stock mounts installation was a breeze. These are great mounts and would recommend them to anyone.
