Deputy Dewey Riley

After being labled 'Woodsboro's finest', Deputy Dewey Riley remained in his home town while Randy Meeks and Sidney moved onto college. He came back after he heard about the murders at the multiplex, to protect Randy and Sidney. He and Gale Weathers tried to pick up their little romance where they had left off, but it was pushed aside when more people started showing up dead, like Randy. He nearly died himself when he and Gale started looking at her video's to see if they could find out who the killer was. The killer showed up and he was stabbed several times, trying to protect Gale. Fortunatly and amazingly, he survived.
