All right, our view on labeling is much like Craig's Brother's view. First and foremost, we're not a Christian band, we're a band with Christian influences. Though we are Christians, the label Christian band is often misused and regardless of how you view our lyrics we'd rather save ourselves the trouble of being criticized, only because of our lyrics. If you know us personally then you'd know that we try to represent God on much more than a musical basis. Another reason is that in our view there's too types of Christians, the true ones, and the marketing ones. Much of the Christian music coming out now is for profitting only, and it doesn't carry the gospel. Lately it seems if you cuss in your lyrics then you can be classified as a "Christian" performer. And, that is not a scheme we want any part of. Now onto "punk." It's becoming a genre within itself. Plus we don't know what to label ourselves, label us whatever genre you will.
