Darryl Kile passed away on June 22, 2002 in the team hotel in Chicago, Illinois. His last start was on June 18, 2002. He won the game at Busch vs. the Aneheim Angels to clinch first place in our division. I think it is fate that on that night, Jack Buck had passed away. It is heartbreaking news to hear that such a nice guy is gone. But, he is not gone forever, he will always be in Cardinal hearts. I have not heard one bad thing about this man. I, myself, have never met him. But, games that I have gone to, I can see and understand why I hear these nice stories about him. My condolences go out to his family, friends, and fans. Everything happens for a reason, and at least he is with Jack Buck, as everyone in Heaven is admiring them both. R.I.P Jack Buck, Darryl Kile, and Rich Barklage.
