The Project

The project was established in 1990. A group of dedicated individuals from a local Christian group identified that there was an obvious inequality in service provision for the black and ethnic minority communities in Wolverhampton. The lack of knowledge of the client group and inadequate health service provisions prompted the formation of the project.

The Project has been addressing these issues for the past decade, which emerged from the community it seeks to serve. Individuals from various backgrounds are invited to contribute to the work of the Project including local Christian groups, voluntary and community groups.

The Project has continued to strive to exist as a vital health provider in Wolverhampton providing services which include: counselling, support, screening, information, training, support, advisory sessions and awareness raising activities.
