John has trouble adjusting to 1940. He keeps using Beach Boys lyrics as sentry codes. During one of their assignments, John meets Commander Fleming, Ian Fleming, licensed to kill. John can't resist telling Ian that he should write about his wartime ops, perhaps, as a fictional secret agent.
Using the code name "Casey Kasem", John makes an unauthorized radio broadcast to the Yanks, trying to warn them about the attack on Pearl Harbor, but he fails. Fortunately, Dr. Anna Freud is available to counsel John and help him deal with the blood bath that he knows is coming.
I read this book for the fun of it -- code name "Casey Kasem," what a crack up!
