This is a delightful collection of cases solved by Great Detective throughout time and space. Can an Holmes AI solve the series of grisly murders committed on a sleeper ship in "Dogs, Masques, Love, Death: Flowers?" Naturally, Sherlock Holmes' fame has spread throughout the civilized worlds, but what happens when an alien arrives on Earth, expecting to consult a living, breathing Holmes? The answer is in "The Adventure of the Illegal Alien."After time travel is perfected, Holmes is the consulting detective of choice in "The Greatest Detective of All Time." Only Holmes can solve a little time flux problem aboard the RMS Titanic -- that damned ship just won't sink. And then there is that little incident involving Fu Manchu, but that would be telling. Finally, Holmes has a fatal confrontation with Schrodinger's cat in "You See But You Do Not Observe."
At the end of the book, I am left with the mystery of whether there will be a sequel of equal intensity? I think that's a one pipe problem.
